Artist Retreats

For more than 25 years, the mission of the Mary Anderson Center has been to provide a time and a place where artists can concentrate and work. Each year talented, gifted artists come to the Center. Here, in the serenity of the southern Indiana hills, artists work to inspire and expand their artistic vision.

Artists who come to the Mount can have a private room, and the freedom to explore the 400+ acres of fields, woods, and lake. So come, be inspired, and get your creative juices flowing for a day or a week, or even longer. You’ll be glad you did!

Call the office to arrange a room in our Loftus House, six-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a full kitchen and two dining rooms for your privacy. An evening meal may be available Tuesdays - Saturdays at an additional cost.
