So That All Who Seek May Find
a ministry of the Conventual Franciscan Friars
Mount Saint Francis is a multi-purpose complex owned and administered by the Province of Our Lady of Consolation of the Conventual Franciscan Friars. Following in the tradition of their founder, St. Francis of Assisi, the Friars maintain the “Mount” as a residence and a sacred place of welcome. A primary focus is the life and prayer of the Friars. A primary ministry is the Retreat Center, which provides opportunities for spiritual renewal to all people. The Friars also make the Mount available to other organizations whose purpose is to encourage religious and human enrichment. All of this is done in a context of respect for creation and the sanctity of life in all its forms.
Mission Statement for the Center for Spirituality
Mount St. Francis Center for Spirituality provides opportunities for spiritual renewal for all people. In following the Conventual Franciscan charism we offer retreats for groups and individuals, days of reflection, spiritual guidance, and community classes. As part of the Center for Spirituality, the Mary Anderson Center for the Arts offers a variety of art classes for the community and studio rentals. Sharing the Franciscan Spirit of hospitality, we are available for hosting retreats and programs for all faiths and backgrounds.
Mount St. Francis Center for Spirituality is the heart of Mount St. Francis. As a place of encounter, the Center seeks to create the environment for individuals in their quest for wholeness and renewal in their relationships with God, others, and all creation.
