A Celebration of Community and Creativity MountFest is more than just a festival; it’s a celebration of the artistic and cultural diversity within our community. This event provides a platform for local artists to showcase their work while fostering a sense of connection and community among attendees. It reflects the Franciscan values of service, creativity, and community spirit.
A Word from the Franciscan Friars Conventual MountFest is a true reflection of the diverse community that finds a home at Mount Saint Francis. “The Mount is many things to many different people, but we're putting them all together for MountFest," said Fr. Vincent Petersen, OFM Conv., Friar and Artist in residence at Mount Saint Francis. "MountFest is a place for the arts, a place for encounter with God, and encounter with God's creation." This event beautifully weaves together the various threads that make up our community—art, faith, and a deep connection to nature—into a day of celebration and unity.
A Legacy of Celebrating the Arts MountFest continues our long-standing tradition of celebrating the arts, deeply rooted in the history of Mount Saint Francis and the surrounding community. Established in 2015, MountFest honors this legacy by offering a premier event that celebrates the arts, music, and food of our region while nurturing the inner Light within each person. For over a century, Mount Saint Francis has served as a sanctuary for the soul, where the Franciscan and Catholic values of compassion, reflection, and spiritual growth are embodied.
