The journey of cacao beans—from their raw, humble beginnings to the smooth, rich chocolate we enjoy—beautifully mirrors the way God works within us. Like these beans, we may start as broken or imperfect, but through God’s healing grace, we are refined, restored, and made whole.
I invite you to a unique sensory journey where we’ll explore the spirituality of chocolate. As we immerse ourselves in this process, we’ll reflect on how God is constantly shaping us into something beautiful and whole.
Through heartfelt prayer, peaceful moments of silence, and thoughtful journaling, we’ll dive deep into themes of healing, renewal, and divine love. Rev. Dr. Regina Proctor is a Spiritual Director, Retreat Leader, Chaplain, United Methodist Minister, and hobby farmer. She serves as a Major Gift Officer for the Province of Our Lady of Consolation. In her spare time, she raises chickens, cares for bees, travels, and keeps her 1976 sourdough starter alive. She loves to exercise her creative nature when hosting retreats. -
